Automotive News | Suzuki modernizes its image with a new logo and the promise "By your side"
The Japanese automaker Suzuki has a new logo. It will be officially displayed on concepts-cars at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show. After more than twenty years of service, the old logo is making way for a more modern symbol, designed for the digital era and which is more environmentally friendly, according to the brand. A change that lies in the details Since 2002, Suzuki has displayed a famous chrome "S". This symbol represented a strong identity, recognizable at first glance. The new logo retains the exact same shape. The only difference ? It is no longer chrome but painted a bright silver. This choice is both eco-friendly and better suited to digital screens, which have favored clean, simple logos for several years. The difference between the old and new logos is therefore subtle. It is not a revolution. It is far from the radical change undertaken by Peugeot, which completely redesigned its image for the electric era. Suzuki, a major player in Rwandan mobility In Rwanda, Suzuki is a well-established automotive brand thanks to its strategic partnership with CFAO Motors Rwanda. The most emblematic model is the Suzuki Ertiga, a family vehicle that largely dominates sales, often used by both private individuals and as taxis. The brand effectively meets the demand for robust, economical cars suited to local roads. Recently, Suzuki strengthened its presence with the inauguration of a new modern showroom in Kigali in 2023, confirming its commitment to the market and aiming to offer an improved customer experience.
